TRAVEL PROBLEMS CLAIM
CIRCUMSTANCES
|
|
There are endless
horror stories about travel problems. It is not possible to list them all but
some of the most common are listed below:
- Aircraft
overbooking.
- Flight
delays.
- Lost
baggage.
- Cruise liner
mechanical faults.
- Ferry
cancellations.
- Cancelled
flights.
- Pre-booked hire
car not available.
- No tour
representative to provide hotel directions.
- Aircraft landing
at a different airport to the departure airport.
- Lack of disabled
facilities.
Many travel problems are clearly not
the fault of the travel operators, such as weather, airport strikes or civil
insurrection. These types of problems come under the general heading of "force
majeure" which simply means that the travel companies need not accept any sort
of responsibility. There are other "grey" areas which we can advise on when we
receive your information. When compiling your claim please take into
account the comments on our evidence page and if you
have any queries please contact us by email, telephone or fax. The contact
details are on our contact page.
