Recently, there
has been much publicity about this problem. Loutish and rowdy behaviour by
others has ruined the holidays for many people. But other factors can come into
this category too:
- Inadequate sound
insulation.
- Noisy air
conditioning.
- All night
parties.
- Construction
work.
- Traffic
noise.
- Noise from the
kitchens.
- Loud music from
bars and function rooms.
- Nearby
factories.
- Children playing
games in the corridors.
- Noisy
plumbing.
- Faulty alarm
systems
- Ship's engine
noise.
- Rowdy groups in
cocktail bars and restaurants.
Most people will tolerate noise for a
brief period of time but constant noise is very depleting. If a call to
management has not curtailed this nuisance then management has clearly failed
in their duty.
